The Town of Dillsboro has unveiled its 2024 Façade Improvement Matching Grant (FIMG) Program to help property owners revitalize their buildings’ exteriors. Eligible property owners can apply for up to $10,000 in matching funds for improvements such as façade repairs, door and window replacements, masonry work, and roof updates visible from the street.
Applications are due by November 1, 2024, and must include detailed plans, three contractor quotes, and a $25 fee. Grant recipients will be selected based on the project’s impact, design significance, and quality. Due to limited funding, not all applications may be fully funded.
