One Dearborn is offering an exciting opportunity for an intern to get involved and see how community-changing economic development is done. Do you want to help improve and market Dearborn County’s amazing places and quality of life? Think you can help secure new private business investment? Do you enjoy taking on a project and running with it? Want to network with leaders and organizations doing positive work to elevate Dearborn County and Southeast Indiana? Then this internship may be for you!
One Dearborn, Inc. is a non-profit local economic development organization serving businesses, organizations and local governments in Dearborn County, Indiana. Learn more about our organization at www.1dearborn.org.
The intern will work directly with the organization’s executive director.
Responsibilities
Potential internship projects:
- Updating economic development site and building inventory
- Ohio River Recreation Trail asset mapping
- Dearborn County Broadband & Digital Inclusion Task Force participation
- Business site visit assistance
- Photo and video production
- These or additional project undertakings could be tailored to fit the candidate's skill set
Qualifications
Preference for candidates residing in or familiar with Dearborn County and/or Southeast Indiana.
Ideal candidates should be enrolled in or recently graduated from a college program related to business, marketing, architecture, planning, or public administration.
