In 2020, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation brought Dearborn and Franklin counties economic development professionals and community stakeholders together to develop a unified, regional approach to overcoming challenges, utilizing strengths and achieveing the region's full potential.
The Dearborn & Franklin Counties 2020 Regional Economic Development Strategic Plan was introduced to the public on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Facilitated and prepared by Thomas P. Miller & Associates, the plan identifies three main goals around infrastructure, quality of life and regionalism. Within each goal, a set of action items were identified for working teams to begin executing.
