Main Street Aurora Celebrates Small Business Saturday with 5 Ribbon Cuttings

The day began with the reopening at a new location for the Aurora High School Museum, 326 Second Street followed by three new businesses; Crystals and Beyond, 431 Second Street, Mick’s Restaurant & Bar, 311 Broadway Street and Hankering Southern Kitchen, 448 Second Street. A new name and a new owner were celebrated at Sommer Salon & Spa, 305 Sunnyside Avenue.

“We are thrilled to welcome these new businesses to downtown Aurora and are here to support them in any way we can,” said Nancy Fahey Turner, Main Street Aurora Executive Director.

Main Street Aurora encourages the community to shop downtown Aurora and support our local retail, specialty, and restaurants during the holiday season and throughout the coming year. You can request curb pickup, delivery, or takeout. Downtown offers unique holiday gifts and personalized shopping experiences or gift certificates are certainly always an option.
