AURORA, Ind. (November 29, 2021) –Sunday, November 28th topped off Small Business Saturday and the campaign to shop small by celebrating two ribbon cuttings held in downtown Aurora prior to the kick off of the 17th Annual Miracle on Main Street. The ribbon cuttings sponsored by Main Street Aurora welcomed JW Alterations & Apparel at 412 Second Street and New Seasons Estate Sales at 320 Second Street.

“On behalf of the City of Aurora and Main Street Aurora we thank you for calling Aurora home. Please reach out to the Mayor’s office or the Main Street Aurora office for anything you need, we are here to help,” said Nancy Fahey Turner, Director of Main Street Aurora.

New Seasons Estate Sales opened in 2016 out of the home of Sherry & Bob Love but has bloomed into the purchase of brick & mortar in early 2021. Jenna Wernke returned to Dearborn County after living in Los Angeles opening her shop in December 2020 on Mechanic Street but recently moving to 412 Second Street.

Main Street Aurora encourages the community to shop downtown Aurora and support our local retail, specialty, and restaurants during the holiday season and throughout the coming year. You can request curb pickup, delivery, or takeout. Downtown offers unique holiday gifts and personalized shopping experiences or gift certificates are certainly always an option. #shopsmallbeforeyoushopbig where #goodthingshappeninaurora!
