This week, we’re highlighting a critical community-focused initiative—the Lifetime Resources Community Health Worker Program. This important program addresses key health challenges in Dearborn County by initially establishing a dedicated Community Health Worker (CHW). This trained CHW will begin addressing health disparities and connecting residents with essential resources, laying the groundwork for future expansion of health support services throughout the county.
🔍 What’s the Vision? Community Health Workers will bridge the gap between healthcare services and residents, particularly those facing health-related barriers. CHWs will assist community members by connecting them with vital health resources, improving healthcare literacy, and addressing social determinants of health like transportation, housing stability, and nutrition.
